Parenting can be a difficult job. Parenting a child with ADHD is even more of a challenge. This group will offer its members a comfortable, non-judgemental place to meet, connect, share, laugh and realize they're not alone on the ADHD parenthood journey. Together we will discuss the joys and challenges of raising a child with ADHD while learning new strategies to be the best parents we can be for our ADHD children. The group is facilitated by Aviva Nirenberg, ACC. This free meetup group meets monthly on Wednesday evenings at 7:45 pm at Nanuet Public Library. You do not need to be a current client to participate.
If you are unable to join our local Rockland County, NY support group or would like to take advantage of an additional opportunity for parenting support, you have the unique opportunity to participate in our closed facebook group. The Parenting ADDvantage is a private online support group for parents of children with ADHD and executive function challenges. Our group is a non judgemental forum where we share tips, resources, strategies, answer questions, give and receive support along the ADHD parenting journey. The group is moderated by Aviva Laura Nirenberg, ACC an ICF certified coach.
